Service Description

Skin needling, also called Micro Needling therapy or collagen induction therapy (CIT), is a minimally invasive skin-rejuvenation procedure that involves the use of a device that contains fine needles. The needles are used to puncture the skin to create a controlled skin injury. Each puncture creates a channel that triggers the body to fill these microscopic wounds by producing new collagen and elastin. The process of neovascularization and neocollagenesis results in improvement of skin texture and firmness, as well as reduction in scars, pore size, and stretch marks. Micro needling works great for the skin indentations caused by acne or chickenpox, as well as fine lines, discoloration and general skin rejuvenation. It is also a good treatment to reduce stretch marks. Results become apparent gradually, as natural collagen growth happens over weeks and months. Please note that more than one treatment is needed to achieve good results. Depending on the skin areas treated, somewhere between three and six micro needling treatments are typically required for optimal results. Each treatment also includes Algae or Gold mask and LED Light Therapy.
